Calling all curious families! Set off on an adventure through Parliament’s past and present and discover 1,000 years of history under one extraordinary roof. Explore iconic spaces like medieval Westminster Hall, the famous House of Commons Chamber, and the magnificent House of Lords Chamber.
Uncover fascinating stories, dramatic trials, and the traditions of State Opening. Step into the shoes of today’s MPs and see how decisions are made.
With a variety of activities to choose from, you’re free to follow your interests and explore at your own pace.
Ideal for ages 7 - 11
The activities have been developed for children aged 7 to 11, but everyone is welcome - younger and older siblings, parents, grandparents, and carers too.

Helpful Information
Tickets
• Adults £27 / Concessions £20 / Kids (up to age 15) go free.
• Everyone attending must have a ticket.
Kids' Handbook and stationery set
• Pre-purchase your Parliament Adventure Bag. It includes our kids’ handbook and eco-friendly stationery. Find out what kind of animals work here, why the cellars are searched once a year, what the difference is between a backbencher and a crossbencher, and much, much more!
Audio guide access
• We recommend you download the audio guide to your phone in advance and bring your own headphones.
• You will receive a download link shortly before your visit.
• A small number of Parliament devices are available to book for those who prefer not to use their own, but availability is limited.
Toilets
• Baby-changing and accessible facilities available.
Food and drink
• A range of food and drink options will also be available to purchase on the day from the Jubilee Cafe. (See the full menu here.
• Please note: You may bring water in a sealed bottle, but all other food and drink (except baby milk and food) must be purchased on site.
Cloakroom and buggy park
• Please note there is no cloakroom. There will be a buggy park available on the day.
Photos
• You are welcome to take pictures in designated areas.
Transport
• The nearest underground station is Westminster station. It has step-free access and is a 5-minute walk to the entrance. There is no onsite parking.
Duration
• Arrive 20 minutes before the time on your ticket. Most families spend 2 – 3 hours with us but you are welcome to stay as long as you like within the event hours.
Accessibility
We are committed to making your visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible. We offer:
• If members of your group wear a Sunflower lanyard, our staff will recognise it and offer support where needed.
• Friendly staff trained to support families with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• A flexible, free-flow day where you choose what activities are right for your family.
• Step-free access to key areas.
• Quiet room available for relaxation and sensory breaks.
• Seating in designated areas.
• Accessible toilets and baby-changing facilities.
• A family room is available for your comfort. Breastfeeding is welcome anywhere, but if you’d prefer a private space, you’re welcome to use the family room.
• Sensory bags for neurodivergent visitors to borrow which you can pre-book. These depend on availability.
